Being a fan of animation, I was also interested in voice acting and writing.

After watching the Peter Jackson adaptation of "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring" back when it came out in 2001, I started imitating trying to imitate all of my favorite characters (Gollum for example). Eventually I starting doing this with other movies, television shows, and video games.

After learning my vocal range (and reading countless stories throughout my life) I started trying my hand atvoice acting, either by reading stories aloud to friends and family or by recording little skits on my father's computer.

From this spark of imagination, began writing my own stories as well. I wanted my characters to take on a life of their own. However, I was never great at animation, and I did not know about anyone who was.

When I joined the Technology Students of America in my junior year at Houston County High School, I was given a chance to actually make two, 5 minute films for the TSA state and national competitions.

So I spent weeks working on the script, casting my teammates roles, and directing the shoot.

It was one of the proudest moments of my life when Houston County team won first place in both competitions in the Film Category.

I would love to some day be able to work in the field of voice acting alongside a journalism career.
