SEEKING ADJUNCT PROFESSOR OF COMMUNICATION: to teach our COMM 4720, MultiMedia Design (3), and other classes in our undergraduate Internet technology specialization. Master's degree in communication or a communication-related field (computer science, information technology, electronic media, mass communication, or mass media) with at least 18 semester hours of graduate coursework directly relating to the course content outlined for this teaching position. This adjunct faculty position requires the candidate to be familiar with the Mac OS X operating system and have proficiency in the use of a combination of the following software programs: Adobe Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash Pro and Photoshop, the use of QuickTime streaming technology based upon productions created using Adobe Premiere, Soundbooth, After Effects, and Encore. This adjunct faculty member should also be familiar with JavaScripting and Cascading Style Sheets. This position could involve either or both online (using D2L) and on-campus teaching.
